About

Jack graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly the British School of Osteopathy) after completing a four year integrated Masters Degree. He is fully insured and registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.

Jack undertakes a structural approach to his work, meaning treatments often consist of “hands-on” techniques, including dry needling (medical acupuncture) and shockwave therapy (only avaible at the Wickwoods Clinic). He has a keen interest in rehabilitation and as a result qualified as an FRC Mobility Specialist through the industry recognised Functional Anatomy Seminar system. He encourages patients to aid their own recovery by providing the knowledge and tools they need, such as appropriate exercises to do at home or at the gym that fit in with the patient’s lifestyle.

Jack has experience treating people of all ages with varying conditions. He has a keen interest in working with sports and exercise injuries, as he has previously played basketball at a national level, so can personally relate to some of the common injuries that can occur.

When not working, Jack enjoys a very active lifestyle, swapping the clinic for a surfboard in search of the next big wave. He is an avid gym goer where he trains 4-5 times per week, focusing on improving cardiovascular fitness, general mobility and strength training, more recently he has started competing in HYROX fitness races. With this in mind, you can certainly feel at ease knowing that Jack practices what he preaches.
